She had her rigid training in music under Professor Felisa Lardizabal and Cristina Careaga and earned the degrees of Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and English Cum Laude, Master of Arts in Psychology at the Far Eastern University, and the Doctor of Philosophy major in Psychology and Guidance at the Centro Escolar University. Dr. Paz F. Abad, formerly Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, is a Bachelor of Science in Education graduate of the University of the Philippines. She earned her Master of Arts degree at the University of the East and the Doctor of Philosophy at the University of Sto. Tomas. Dr. Abad has been a Professor at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines for many years teaching Psychology, Sociology, and Natural Science. She also handles Humanities, Art Education, and Home Economic subjects in college and in high school and is also a Graduate School Professor of the PUP. Dr. Loreto V. Jao was Chairman of the PASUC Faculty Evaluation of the PUP and presently of the Department of Psychology of the said university. As a professor, she teaches humanities, behavioral, and social sciences subjects. Prior to her teaching experience at PUP, she taught at the Baguio Central University (formerly Lyceum of Baguio). She was once of the Pioneers of the First Community College of Zambales-Masinloc Community College. Dr. Jao finished her Bachelor of Arts major in Psychology and minor in English at the Far Eastern University, Her BSE and M.A. Ed. Degrees were obtained from the Baguio Central University.
