RULES AND REGULATIONS
- Silence must be observed at all times.
- Sleeping, eating, drinking, smoking and other disruptive behavior are strictly prohibited inside the T.I.P. Libraries and shall be subject to disciplinary action.
- Library users should observe courtesy at all times. Any act of discourtesy toward the librarians shall be duly noted for appropriate action.
- All materials, resources, facilities and utilities of the library should be used with proper care.
- Mutilating, defacing, tearing, and vandalizing of books or other properties of the library are strictly prohibited and subject to disciplinary action and suspension of library privileges.
- Library users must prominently display their Student ID on them at all times. Students who f ail to do so will not be allowed access to the Library facilities.
- No items belonging to the library are to be taken out of the library unless they have been checked out at the circulation desk and at the security post.
- Mobile phones or any other personal electronic gadgets must be switched to silent mode before entering the library.
- Making unreasonable noise, loud conversations, loud cell phone calls, or playing loud music or video that can distract other library users in the library is not permitted.

- Users are prohibited from making or answering calls within the quiet zone.
- The discussion room is used for academic purposes only and should not be used for private study or social purposes.
- Library furniture/equipment should not be moved from its original location.
- Library users should deposit bags and plastic envelopes /or folders at the baggage counter before entering the library. Valuable things (calculator, wallet or coin purse, laptop, cellular phones, etc.) must be taken inside the premises.
- Personal belongings should not be left unattended. The library management will not be held responsible for the loss of personal belongings.
- When a user is caught for breaching the library rules and regulations, immediate action will be taken.
